I hope this episode helps people see why it is great to hold a view but showing respect to others and having humility is important.
There is going to be a glorious day to behold one day. It will be both sadness and regret but also utmost joy for those who finally embrace Jesus.
Psalm 145 Have you ever tried alphabet praise? Give it a try today.
In this difficult chapter to interpret there is also found a beautiful nugget of truth and evidence where God ties together thousands of years of history.
This is an update from Revering the Word ministry as we approach completing our first time through the Bible and look forward getting many more on board for January 1, 2027.
My Kingdom come, My will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Jesus came to usher in Gentiles, people like you and me, into God’s family through faith in Him. The Jews expected Jesus to restore them and their nation and their temple. It may very well be that, because they failed to welcome Gentiles and failed to honor and worship Him rightly, God brought about the first coming to welcome the Gentiles in, and He is waiting on His second coming to win more. When He comes the second time, He will restore Israel, Jerusalem, and a remnant of Jews, and we will also share in the blessing of the Millennium. In this way, I see the tribulation as punishment for Jews and unbelievers and God’s grace in seeking to win them during the tribulation. I believe the church will be spared the tribulation by the rapture and return with Jesus for the Millennium. We need a measure of humility in all of this, but this is what I hold to. It makes sense to me because the Jews are under the curse of the law because they failed in God’s mission, and they have not received the cure for the curse in Jesus, as the church has. This is why the tribulation is called the wrath of the Lamb in Revelation 6, and we are promised we will not experience the wrath.
Just prior to Jesus’ ascension the Apostles asked this question. Why? This is a very important teaching in understanding Old and New Testaments.
Going to church, reading the word and obeying are all important but what God is really after is an authentic change in our faith and behavior because we are devoted to Him. Attendance and obedience are now byproducts of the authenticity. Attendance and obedience without true change is not the goal.
