Jordan Rich fills in - This week, the state of Massachusetts has seen an uptick in COVID-19 cases. Yesterday alone, the state saw an increase of 438 cases, which is the highest single day count in two months. Last week, Gov. Baker scolded various groups for disobeying the state’s guidelines when it comes to social and even recreational gatherings. Additionally, Rhode Island has experienced a high uptick in cases as well, so much so that they’ve been added to New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Connecticut’s list of states that residents are required to quarantine upon returning from. If people don’t cool it with the gatherings, will we be headed for another state lockdown?
