Based on the current events in our world, I thought it would be a good idea to continue my streak of watching TV shows/movies about black lives and the common struggles they face. Whether that be work, relationships, self control, etc. And it’s a very engaging experience, getting their slices of life and getting to know each character. I’ve recently found a show called Insecure that really shows on that. And, ppl, I LOVE IT! I highly recommend checking Insecure out, it’s about two black women going through modern society struggles and you know, the whole deal. And, frick, I can’t say this enough. The show’s good, the cinematography is well put into the show, and the characters gradually grow and learn from their mistakes. It’s emotional, heartwarming, dramatic, and interesting. You can really tell how this show was made with passion. If you haven’t checked this show out yet, I highly suggest you do. Especially with everything going on in the world right now.
