Before we get to that we give you our reviews on Baby Driver and Despicable Me 3. Spoilers one movie was awesome and the other one was just okay. Guess which is which.

Then on to our main topic. There are a lot of the same moments and themes in these 3 DCEU movies but for some reason they worked in Wonder Woman and not in the other two.

On today’s show Rubi has a very super special guest: Serenity Autumn! Serenity makes her triumphant return to the podcast after a stint in the hospital.

On today’s show we give you our take and review on the live action DCEU Wonder Woman movie.

First we recognize and pay a little homage to the great Adam West. RIP.

Then we do some first world belly aching about going to see Franz Ferdinand in concert. We might be getting too old to go to those particular concerts. We are old and need some chairs.

On to the main feature. Wonder Woman was magnificent! It took over 75 years for her to be seen in a big screen live action movie and boy was it worth the wait. Gema and Rubi chat a little about the gender politics. We also give you a bit of history about this character and the mythology these characters come from. Plus the dive right into the real complexities this movie presents and lets you decide for yourself. Its not preachy or annoying. Its marvelous and everyone should see it!

First we give you our review of Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a fine movie. It could’ve benefited from some editing, but over all very enjoyable. Also, Rubi may have figured out why Marvel Movies are so much more enjoyable and successful than the DC Movies. Plus, all the big summer movies look awesome!

On to the main feature, the beauty products. Gema and Rubi differentiate between hygiene and beauty products. Spoilers: everyone needs to use hygiene products daily! We go through each others beauty routine, or lack there of and discuss why or why not. Are we hypocrites? Is wearing make up fun? Why do we do it?
