The Lord Jesus came into the world to save us from the hands of Satan. The human being is naturally a sinner, and the Bible says, "For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23). So we had it so deserves to be cast into everlasting fire, which is the legitimate reward for our sins. However, due to its over-flowing love for us, our Lord, Jesus Christ, to accept it, to be a sinner (though he did not commit a single sin) so as to receive the wages of sin in the place of the true sinner, namely me .
