My favorite roles, though, are husband to Debbie and dad to Jeremy and Kailey. I live across town from where I grew up in Denver, CO in a violent, inner-city family of bodybuilders. I never had a dad and never felt like I measured up because my biceps weren’t big enough! But God transformed my family one by one through the power of the gospel, and it changed my world. My passion for evangelism was ignited way back then, and I knew I was called to a life of spreading the gospel. I founded Dare 2 Share (D2S) in 1991 to train teens to share their faith. Then in 1999, the Columbine High School shooting happened just minutes down the road from our headquarters. It shook me to my core. It was more apparent than ever how desperately teenagers needed Jesus, so I resigned from a pastorate to pursue D2S full time. I’ve been speaking, training, and writing about youth ministry and evangelism ever since. I want to see Gospel Advancing ministries around the world training youth to rescue their friends for Christ. He is the son of a Pioneer Pastor, and preached his first message at the age of 8 years old. He received his call to the ministry in a revival preached by B.P. Carrol at an Assemblies of God Church in Neosho, MO where Rev. D.C. Branham was Pastor. Throughout his teenage years, Bishop Vorce preached in churches, on street corners, in rest homes, and in prisons. He preached youth services, and youth revivals. He was the guest speaker in several youth camps, as well as many church revivals. In 1985, he began a successful, full time evangelistic and missionary endeavor which he continued for the next 7 1/2 years. Bishop Vorce has traveled throughout the US, Mexico, Canada, the Cree Nation and Jamaica preaching revivals, crusades, conventions, and camp meetings. He is an author and the host of Working the Word (a weekly television program). Since 1993, Bishop Vorce has served as Lead Pastor of 4 different congregations. Since May 2010 Bishop Vorce and his family are currently serving as Lead Pastors of the Lakewood Family Church in Bayonet Point, FL where their main focus involves, but is not limited to, organization, administration, leadership training, teaching and preaching, counseling, mentoring, community interaction and being an example to those they are privileged to lead.
