revivanary

On today's episode we have a special guest named Spencer Lawson. We will be discussing the very unique way that we were introduced to one another and how God has allowed us to stay close buddies throughout the years since. Sometimes it isn't in the best of times that God chooses to reveal Himself and do things in our lives, actually it is often in the difficult places of our lives that God speaks and introduces His will. Do not ever feel that because your life is not "perfect" in your eyes that God cannot possibly be doing something good in you. Hindsight is 20/20...looking back I can see the hand of God at work, but in the moment all I could see was the mess I was in. If you are His child then you are His child regardless of your current circumstances. Don't miss out on the peace of God because you don't feel worthy or you feel like you have failed. Remember, it is He that produces any good in you...it's not you. He doesn't just love you when it all makes sense. He also loves you while He is working all things out for your good so it can make sense.

On today's episode we discuss the believers reaction and response to the recent decision handed down by the Supreme Court regarding Roe v Wade. As believers we have a clear command on how we are to live in this world...like Jesus. Jesus gave us the example of being neither an authoritarian nor an anarchist. He taught us to love the Lord with all our being and our neighbor as ourselves. That does not change according to how we feel in the heat of the moment. No matter how intense the cultural issue may be, we are called to make disciples.

On today's episode we will explain the inspiration behind the name "Revivanary". Is it a real word? What does it mean? We will also be discussing what it truly means to be "born again" and dive into what true revival is and what it is not.

On this first episode of the Revivanary Podcast, we will explain our purpose and intent of the podcast going forward as well as dive right into the teaching that you can expect with each episode.
