In a world that measures greatness by power, recognition, and influence, Jesus presents a radically different vision of what it means to be truly great.
In this first episode of our series, Every Member a Servant, we examine the ambitious request of James and John and discover how their misunderstanding of Christ's kingdom exposed a much deeper issue: the desire for glory without the cross. Jesus responds by redefining greatness through humble service and ultimately points His disciples to Himself, the Servant King, who came "not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."
Biblical service does not begin with filling ministry positions. It begins with the gospel. Because Christ has first served us through His life, death, and resurrection, we are now called to joyfully serve Him and one another.

Is it measured by recognition, influence, and success, or by your resemblance to Christ? - What truly motivates your service?
Are you serving for appreciation, influence, or recognition, or is your service flowing from gratitude for the gospel? - Are you following the same path your Savior walked?
