Whenever we feel like we’re struggling through life, we need to remember who we serve, and remind ourselves and God of our victories. The goodness of God is what gives us the forward push that we need. His goodness means that we are always safe with Him. Our goal should be to be safe with God, and for Him to be safe with us.

God’s love is so deep that we need to grow in knowledge and insight just to comprehend it. It’s that same growth that helps us discern what God’s best is in our lives. While we don’t always get to choose our circumstances, we get to choose our attitude when we face them. Every situation is a chance to advance the Kingdom. Sometimes all we need is a change in perspective to get our breakthrough.

When we partner with what God’s doing, He will take what was started in us and complete it. Partnership with God enables us to have the same grace and responsibility as Jesus had. Nothing that we do is insignificant when we are in partnership with Him!

Why has God given us freedom? It's so that he can create an environment where others can expericnce freedom too! When your life has changed and you're walking in faith with God, don't let the patterns of the past pull you back into slavery. Stand firm, and let the joy of the Lord carry you!

One of the greatest things that God can give you are opportunities with favorable conditions. In order to step into those opportunities, you need to have faith and recognize when God is opening a door for you. When opposition and giants come, don't be deceived, it means you're walking in the promised land. Walking with God by faith changes your perspective and causes you to fight instead of retreat.

People behave the way that they believe. A stronghold is a belief system that allows darkness to operate. Our belief system determines the way we think and live our lives. Paul reassured Timothy that his faith had history. Just like Timothy, we all have been given an endowment of power to do what we were born to do. Living this out also requires us to fan the flame so the fire doesn’t go out.

In order to get all the benefits of the Kingdom, we need to understand and honor the King. Whenever we honor something, it moves closer to us instead of away. Those who don’t operate in an atmosphere of honor can’t release whats within them. Honor is the catalyst that we need to release an awakening to our cities.

When Gideon stood against the religious system in Israel and tore down the idols, he understood that God wasn’t going to compete with their attitudes and agenda. Real warriors are the ones who live on the edge and aren’t distracted by worldly concerns. God put the Holy Spirit in you to do something, and the fear and intimidation has to go for you to step into your future!

Everything that we do should me mixed with faith. Without faith, everything we put effort into becomes self-effort. Our faith is what connects us to heaven. When we mix everything with faith, we get to participate in what God’s doing to reverse the curse. The evidence of faith is seen by our attitudes, actions, and words. Faith is the empowerment of hope.

Near the end of his life, Joshua gave the Israelites two assignments: serve the Lord with faithfulness and throw away other gods. Our first priority should be to serve God too, because as we serve Him, it changes us. Just like Israel, we also have to choose either God or other things, but not both. Joshua decided that his family would serve the Lord. In order to be holy like He is, we have to throw away everything that is foreign to Him.
