    Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 2, episode 17, “Passion”:
    -Synopsis

    -Synopsis
    -Newbie reactions: Kristen was scarred forever by the creepy guy and Mitch was creeped out by the eye suckers.
    -This is a skippable episode for Selina, while Karen tries to convince us that it has its own merits.
    -The lack of Angelus might be one reason we don't love this episode as much.
    -The creepy guy is very Freddy Krueger-esque.
    -Cordelia and Xander have a moment, and she calls him out on his Buffy fixation.
    -Xander and Cordelia are truly starting to care for each other, and that changes things.
    -Cordelia is slowly being unveiled as a vital part of the Scooby gang. She is really into this now.
    -Selina fills in a gap that was puzzling Kristen.
    -The Scooby gang killed this villain differently from how they've gone at it before.
