Erica Smith is a sexuality educator with over 20 years of experience in the field. She's known for her signature Purity Culture Dropout Program, developed in 2019 to teach folks recovering from purity culture all of the accurate, comprehensive, queer inclusive, trauma informed sex ed that they missed. Previously she worked with young women and LGBTQ+ youth in the juvenile justice system and in HIV prevention.

Erica did not grow up in a religious environment, but tailors her sex education to folks who need it the most- and at the moment, that's folks coming out of high demand religions. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and a house full of rescue animals.
