But for Stefanie Schaffer, a family vacation in the Bahama's changed her entire life forever. When a boat traveling for an adventurous afternoon to an island to swim with pigs exploded, right under her seat, life changed in an instant. Numerous surgeries, months in the hospital, she was left as a bilateral amputee & T12 para. But this didn't stop her, from pushing through mental health struggles, physical challenges and learning to embrace her new beauty she embarked on signing a contract with a modeling agency for those with disabilities and differences which led to her becoming a featured model in the Kim Kardashian SKIMS campaign. She is not only a warrior, a public speaker but also an author of her own book, documenting her experience and her life called "Without Any Warning".
