Paul was born with a disorder called Cerebral Palsy. Doctors told his mom how his life would be, but she chose to model to Paul how to own his story and not give up. Paul could have chose to give into what he was being told his story would be or he could choose to own his story and rewrite the narrative. He used goals as a way to help him keep focused and to tune out the noise others were telling him his life was going to be.
