Thursday' show highlights the Illinois Conservation Farm Family of the Year, the Ulen's from Ullin. We check in at Conservation World at the Illinois State Fair and learn about Copi, the rebrand of the invasive Asian carp. We transition to the Specialty Growers tent at the State Fair and feature the Farmer of the Day--Greg and Maria Anderson from Maria's Mums and More. We finish the show meeting another IAA Foundation scholarship winner.

Wednesday’s show includes coverage from Ag Day at the Illinois State Fair. We hear from Illinois Farm Bureau President Richard Guebert. We talk with the new Illinois FFA Reporter Levi Maierhofer and then head to the livestock barns to learn about the Illini Dairy Club and visit with exhibitor Sheridan Hank. We finish the show talking all things specialty growers with Illinois Farm Bureau’s Raghela Scavuzzo.

Tuesday's show features Nashville singer/songwriter Margo Price, a native of Aledo, IL. She is now on the FarmAid Board of Directors. We meet the Illinois State Fair karaoke champ. We get a CropWatcher update from Larry Hummel from Lee County. We talk ag education with Luke Allen from Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education. The final segment is with DTN ag meteorologist John Baranick.

We have Illinois State Fair coverage from one of the livestock barns. We also talk all things trucking with Don Schaefer from the Mid-West Truckers Association. Friday's show includes a conversation with Illinois Farm Bureau Director of Environmental Policy Lauren Lurkins. She discusses a membership action request concerning proposed EPA atrazine restrictions. We also high the Carroll County and get an update from Illinois Farm Bureau Consumer Engagement Manager Gracie Pierson. We also check in at the Illinois State Fair and speak with exhibitor Lauren Toohill, a recent grad from Heyworth High School. She is a grand champion in popcorn.
