An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - During these times of uncertainty, we often struggle with the question of "Why? Why did God allow this to happen in my life?  Why does God permit such calamity?"  In this message, Pastor Spencer encourages believers to rely on God's faithfulness when we may not have all the answers.  2020 has been a year we will never forget, a year filled with fear and crushing disappointment, but we continue looking to the ONE who is seated on the throne.  Jesus Christ is still the King of kings and Lord of lords!  He is still in control!  As we transition into this New Year 2021, may our minds be fixed on this simple truth.  Our God is Faithful!

An Excerpt - Pastor Spencer encourages believers to be sober-minded in these last days, looking forward to the coming of Christ.  "Let us not be ignorant of this one thing.  With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.  The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some may think, but patient not wanting any to perish, but everyone to come to repentance"  (2 Peter 3: 8-9).  We continue looking to God for He who promised is FAITHFUL.  Amen.

An Excerpt - Pastor Spencer shares from 2nd Timothy 3 encouraging believers to get in the Scriptures, our hiding place during these turbulent times.   As God's children, we need to KNOW what the Bible says for ourselves.  Only then will we be able to truly pray and stand firm in the midst of persecution and suffering.  What about you?  Are you anchored in His Word?

An Excerpt from Sunday's Word of Inspiration - Pastor Spencer encourages believers to seek God more in the Scriptures and don't take shortcuts.  Let the Bible be our FIRST go to book and our foundation for all other forms of inspiration.  Only then will we be able to overcome challenges & temptation even as Jesus did in the wilderness in Matthew 4.  He is our role model!  Let's follow hard after Him!
