And there it was, the sign of the way of the world.

And the end was brutal and beautiful.

A duet for pain and the shallow sounds of mourning.

The shambling of the shadows tell no tales.

Oh, for the dervishes and danse macabre, the morning sings!

There once were three, until two became none.

When the distance is too deep and the morning has become pastel black, there is no other choice.

A chance at union, and of a farewell to spring.

And the drowned flower in time, a dance of the morning given way from spring.

"I have seen the night without the sun, where even the steps of its' name cannot vie against the thick darkness dancing from a shadow in the hills.

There is no moon, despite a clearness of sky, broken only by a center of mist rising between fading stars. There is a flicker in the ether; a wandering death fades through a pattern-locked place.

Distant suns would echo in a normal night, but only two can remain and be seen straining against the swallowed earth, dry and hiding in bleak midnights where smiles fade and terror creeps.
