The darker the world becomes, the greater the opportunity for the church to be the light. We are the church and we don’t exist for ourselves, we exist for the world around us. Let’s surrender to Jesus, take up the mandate He gave us and impact our world with God’s glory.

God takes care of His children in the midst of the most adverse circumstances. Some of us have lived with fear so long that we have become paralyzed. Let’s embrace what Christ has done for us through His death and resurrection and be the change we want to see around us. The Lord promises His blessing on all we put our hand to.

The church has a profound responsibility to make known the manifold wisdom of God in the spiritual realm. This in turn affects the physical world we live in. In this vital message to the church as a whole, we are rallied to take up our responsibility and make an impact amidst rising crime, violence and other atrocities. Now is not the time for the church to make a truce with the enemy, but to rise up and be counted!

Like the prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 6 it might look like we are surrounded by threats and calamity all around. But God does some of His best miracles when we are at a disadvantage. Be encouraged to open your eyes and see that ‘those who are with us are more than than those who are with them.”

God didn’t call us to just get by but to be light in the darkness and a blessing to others while the world is falling apart. What we expect is what we will get!
