Following on from 1 Corinthians 3, Jason explores the health of heart issues of each individual which is expressed as the corporate health of the church...we are to be a beautiful bride that glorifies Jesus!

What is it that we are building on the foundation of Christ's death and resurrection, is it perishable or imperishable, will it be burned up on the last day? The building of our lives should honour and express the foundation that they are built upon... 'each ones work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it....'

The wisdom of God is not understood by the world and its rulers...things freely given by God can only be understood by receiving the spirit, giving spiritual life is ultimately in Gods hands.

Gethin - Are we knowing, showing and sowing Christ crucified as the foundation of our faith, not worldly wisdom?

Ruth - Do we acknowledge and receive that faith is a gift from God, our first love, or are we try to work to obtain it? Are our hearts captivated by Christ crucified and vulnerable towards God and our brothers and sisters?

Because of Christ's death and resurrection we are in Him, 'he who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."'

As Christ's church we should be primarily united around Him, pursuing His mission by the power of His cross.

We live out of who we believe we are, we must know who we are as salt and light... so we can be this hope in the world!
