This is a hot topic right now because it seems like Free speech is anything but free. And more and more rare. My question going into this was Is hate speech allowed in a society who cherishes Freedom of Speech? Does the first amendment protect me if I disagree with you and want to talk about how much I don’t like you or your cause or product in public? Why does it seem like a small group of individuals controlling our social media platforms determines what we can and cannot say? Do they have the right to do that on their privately owned platforms?
