In Episode 5, “Beach Slap” of The Real Housewives of Miami, the women trade sun and sand for high tension in Larsa’s own domain. She hosts an Italian cooking lesson at her and Scottie’s private restaurant, gathering all the ladies under one roof. 

Drama kicks off when Adriana calls out Cristy about rumors tied to Lea’s gala, putting her on the defensive.  Soon, things spiral when Cristy and Alexia are supposed to walk in a fashion show for charity, but Alexia gets into a car accident en route, altering the event’s trajectory. 

Larsa attempts to hold the luncheon together, but the mood sours when the women argue over unpaid bills and who holds the real power in Miami’s social circuit. 

By the end, “Beach Slap” (misleading title aside) proves that gossip, glitz, and underlying grudges make more heat than the Miami sun.
