Culture Night is an annual, all-island public event which takes place each year on the second last Friday of September. It celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day. On the 19th September special and unique events and workshops will take place at various locations here in Roscommon and across the country. These events are made available to the public free of charge with thanks to the support of the Arts Council and local Authorities across the island of Ireland. To discuss the numerous events available here in County Roscommon on this year’s Culture Night, Adrianne is joined by Rhona McGrath, Arts Officer with the Roscommon County Council.
