Dr. Rhymes flied solo once again on Rhymes Reasons. A powerful dissection of the 2016 Presidential campaign. Hard words, for a hard time. Listen, only, on the Rhymes Media Group page on BlogTalkRadio. It was a an insightful and vibrant 2016 election autopsy. The political blood, sinew, ligaments and organs of the body politic were closely examined
BTW, especially good listen for 3rd & 4th party voters. Get past the choppiness... it's worth it.

We have a wonderful Rhymes Reasons for you this Friday 6pm CST. Our guest will be Pamela Lewis, teacher, writer and author of the book, Teaching While Black: A New Voice on Race and Education. The Huffington Post said it this way: "Teaching While Black makes a broad call for a more culturally responsive curriculum. In detailing Lewis’ own experiences during her first decade of teaching, it takes readers inside classrooms where students are sometimes distressingly poor and deeply uncomfortable in their own skin."
The Fordham News had this to say:  "Teaching While Black is filled with anecdotes of Lewis’ students—how they struggled, how they bonded with her over music, how she could relate to them and their families. It is Lewis’ hope that curricula in communities of color will continue to grow to better reflect their diverse student body, and that the city will attract more black and Latino teachers. A dearth of knowledge and education about one’s own culture, she said, contributes to low self-esteem and can lead students to struggle in and out of school."
Be warned, Pamela Lewis is a no-holds barred, authentic, intelligent, take-no-prisoners conversationalist, so this ought to be real fun! Join us for an hour of honest talk and insightful conversation. I am really looking forward to this episode of Rhymes Reasons and so should you.

I am proud to announce that we have our next guest for Rhymes Reasons lined up and it is John Kiriakou. Former CIA officer and heroic whistleblower - and he just happens to be in my personal Courage Hall of Fame. He was one of the first government officials to reveal the American torture of detainees and prisoners. John is an associate fellow with the Institute for Policy Studies, and contributor for Huffington Post. He appears in the 2014 documentary Silenced, a film about three National Security whistleblowers fight to reveal the darkest and illegal secrets regarding America's pseudo-war on terror.
John is also an all-around good guy - isn't it nice when the good guys are GOOD guys? Now, because of certain scheduling issues, we had to bump up the time of Rhymes Reasons to 12 pm CST on Friday. It would be great if you could join us - even better if you could call-in - and I'm really looking forward to this. Back-to-back great guests, this host is blessed.
