On this episode I am joined by SpeakEZ/Jonah (https://x.com/InstallingLife) the owner of SpeakEasy Smashcade (https://www.facebook.com/groups/845616975771273/), an amazing fun house filled with cabs and cool shit everywhere. It truely is something you can only experience in real life, we talk about the origins and how it came to be, and the reality of having that many arcade machines. And ofc we get a bit off topic as per usual :P Jonah is a super chill person who does a lot for this community and people like this really help create a safe and social environment for all of us. We do really all just want to play games and have fun, maybe this can inspire some of you to host some social gatherings in your community or just make some new friends! Be kind to everyone <3
In this episode our host FabSab44 talks with a pillar of the Minnesota rhythm game community Luke (https://x.com/LKLKRVLN and @lukelukerevolution on discord)! He shares his experiences buying and owning a DDR Max cab, now a DDR white cab, two B2L pads and working at David and Brothers (you know who I mean).
1x No Bar? Coin Lines? DDRFreak? MAX300? metrics.ini? ?!!!

On this episode I am joined by the wonderful JulieQ (https://x.com/jujukoo) an amazing old school DDR player who has an insane amount of stories and DDR trivia to share with us. This one really is a treat.
Also the aaron in Japan book we mentioned in the episode is https://www.amazon.com/Counting-Combos-History-Japanese-Community/dp/1475003161 that goes over the history of DDR in Japan

An intro to this podcast, tldr I will be yapping about rhythm games and life so feel free to come along on this run on sentence or don't. This isn't going to be a very educational or fact based podcast so if you are looking for that this is probably not for you. I just like to talk, first podcast in a long time though so please excuse the 100 "umms" and feel free to let me know if the audio is fine.
SPOILER ep1 will probably drop on Saturday with a special guest

Talking about friends with my friends what more can you ask for? Â https://twitter.com/pumpituppodcastÂ
In this episode, host FabSab talks about getting people into music games who have no interest or experience, and overcoming the struggles of games like Pump it Up that are not very accessible and usually must be played in an arcade environment. Â Don't forget to follow @pumpituppodcast on twitter!Â
We thank the community for a lot, but some things we forget they even influence or that we have the ability to shape. Here I try to touch on these, I also ramble, a LOT.Â

Finally, the episode I had been teasing for months is finally out, this was recorded a while back, now you guys know why I was keeping it from being out. For those who are not in Canada this is not that much of a crazy secret. But regardless, this episode is a great insight on what obtaining and owning a cab is like. Thanks to special guest GoP Demon for sharing his stories and letting me interview him. Don't forget to follow us on twitter  https://twitter.com/pumpituppodcastÂ
