Yesterday we were talking about vipassana meditation and why you should participate 10 days silent retreat. For many of you it may not possible to attend the retreat immediately. I have a solution for you in this episode.
Vipassana has to be done though 2 steps.
In these two stage anapaana is most important and very simple. Even in 10 days retreat we do anapaana for 3 days continuously. Those who are all established into anapaana can only do vipassana.
Anapana meditation has following the benefit:
1. It will improve your concentration like no other meditation.
2. It will improve your awareness and alertness.
3. It will improve will power.
4. It will improve your self-confidence.
List of benefit is large, but these are the benefit I experienced in my journey.
