Largo (Italian for 'wide', 'broad'), a very slow tempo, or a musical piece or movement in such a tempo.

Largo also suggests heartfelt personal intensity, something so slow that the music’s heartbeat is almost suspended

There is something in that music that gives you an idea of the sense of life, of time, of eternity. It makes you realize that the person who wrote and play that music, and the person who listen it, are both together at the same time.

Each sound is like a breath, the silence between like the space between heart beats. This is music written for strings and orchestra. Largo.

Richard Dobeson’s Largo is a highly personal work. It is a single-movement song of calm and deep passion.
