Richard Fierro is recognized as a decorated 15-year Army veteran ending his service in 2013 as a major, and he was twice awarded the bronze star for his work.

After serving in the Army, Richard and his wife established Atrevida Beer Company, a female forward brewery producing unique flavors that challenge consumer’s perspective of craft beers.

More recently, this man honorably and bravely defended the lives of eighteen-plus individuals that were victims of a shooting in a queer bar in Colorado Springs. Fierro disarmed the gunman and protected his community at Club Q that night.
