Our next guest is Mr. Richard Sheppard.

Richard is one of the Nation's most experienced executives - his career expands across the fields of banking, finance, property, entertainment & infrastructure wherein he has played an instrumental role in the success of both public & private enterprises.

His current positions include as Chair (six years) & Non-Executive Director (ten years) of Dexus Property Group, one of the Country's largest property institutions.

Richard is also a Non-Executive Director of Star Entertainment Group, Australia's leading integrated resort, hospitality and gaming company, as well as a Non-Executive Director of Snowy Hydro Limited.

In his previous positions, Richard spent over thirty-six years at Macquarie Bank wherein he rose to become Chief Executive Officer during the period 2007 until late 2011 as well as Deputy Managing Director of Macquarie Group Limited from the period 1996 to 2011.

During this time, he worked closely with fellow Macquarie heavyweights Bill Moss AO, Allan Moss AO, Tony Berg AM and Nicholas Moore.
