What equipment would the Lord direct an obviously outmanned army of 300 to take to battle in the middle of the night? Not spears, shields, bows and arrows; a torch, a trumpet and an earthen vessel to break. Oh, and a shout. What a battle, what an outcome. Let's look at Gideon: Mighty Man of Valor as he and his 300 man army face 135K+.

Fear is sometimes better faced with a friend. God displays His gracious longsuffering to Gideon when he suggests that Gideon take Phurah with him to spy out the enemy. What an interesting turn of events in the life of Gideon: Mighty Man of Valor.

In todays message in our series on Gideon: Mighty Man of Valor, we see God slimming Gideon's fighting force from 32,000 to 300. How will Gideon win the battle with 300? Join us in this message to see what God has to say about that question.

Have you ever had a conflict with family over faith? Gideon was given instructions from the voice of God that required great commitment. Let's see how Gideon overcame his fear.  Look in Judges 6:25.

We find Gideon in Judges 6:17 bringing a gift of a meal to the angel of the LORD. The LORD instructs Gideon to place it upon a rock from which fire comes and consumes the meat. God' confirmation and convincing process can sometimes be dramatic. Let's see what else lies in store for Gideon, Mighty Man of Valor.
