Tyler and Mike welcome in Sean McMasters to the Richest Men In Town podcast. Sean is the Senior Pastor for the Vineyard City Church in Redding, California and he just so happens to be a former classmate of Tyler's (shoutout to Enterprise High School class of 1993!). Tyler and Sean get reunited and Sean catches everyone up on what the journey over the last 30 years has looked like. And what a journey it has been. The end result is a powerful conversation that will leave everyone feeling like they just had some midweek church. Topics include:
Sean delivers a powerful witness of his personal faith and lessons that he learned and is now teaching others. His invitation to rest in grace hit powerfully and just might be the antidote that the world needs right about now. To Sean, thank you for the authentic way you show up in your life. Thank you for sharing how everything changed once you met Jesus. Keep going brother!

The Richest Men in Town podcast is all about bringing people together and this week's episode is a special night that reunites Tyler Goold with one of his favorite people. Chris Smyrnos is a "go-to guy" who is doing a lot of things right. He's a good friend to the guys but make no mistake about it, Chris is a deep pool with a lot to teach RMIT listeners. In his time, Chris leads the conversation across a wide range of topics including:
In the end, Lieutenant Smyrnos delivers a master class, helping all of us to remember the importance of perspective and striving to be better every day. More importantly, Chris is all about intentionally doing his part to be the person to help others along the way. To Chris, we raise a glass and toast him for the man, the husband, the father, the police officer, the friend, the son, and the leader that he is. Thanks for sharing your story and helping to show the way to better. Keep going, brother!

Tyler and Mike take a chance on a recommendation from friends of the program. Troy and Daphne Blanchard are living rich lives in Ecuador these days but their referral takes the guys to Apache Junction, Arizona where they get to know Bryant Powell. It turns out that Bryant Powell is as good as it gets and in his time with the guys, he drops all kinds of goodness. Bryant takes listeners back to the early days of his faith journey, going back to building his life as a young man on the underlined words of the Savior in his seminary scriptures. He also lets the guys in on some of the ups and downs that life is currently dealing him. Tyler and Mike go along for the ride and along the way, some great topics come up including:
Throw in some talk about waterbeds, Pro Wings, and MCI phone cards and Bryant paints a rich life picture indeed. To the Powell family, thank you for the lives you are living. Bryant Powell, thank you for sharing your story and showing up for your family and your community. Keep going brother!

The wait is over. After a bit of a break this summer, the guys are back with the highly anticipated debut of Season 6 of The Richest Men In Town. To kick things off, Tyler and Mike are excited to bring back Nick Anderson. Nick has been on a couple of times (check out Episodes #16 and #40) but this time the guys mix it up a bit by inviting his wife Shellie to join him on the program to tell her story...and what a story she has! Her faith journey has been an arduous one but early life lessons and adversity have shaped her to live an amazingly rich life and help others do the same. In their time with the Andersons, the guys learn about:
To Shellie, thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your story with listeners. In the midst of extremely difficult challenges, you have shown courage and grace and reminded all of us that faith is a principle of action and that the grace that is available to all of us through the Atonement of Jesus Christ gives us strength to do that which we cannot do on our own. To all of our listeners, we want to invite you to check out Shellie's resources, including her coaching website, courses, and podcast. Let's pray to do things differently and then, with some intentionality, commit to do the work on ourselves. That's the only way things change.

We welcome back someone that needs no introduction to the RMIT podcast. The guest is Brian Grow and the conversation is rich and real as the guys catch up and dig in. Brian lets listeners in on life lessons and the guys add their two cents along the way. The result is an "unpolished" collection of nothing but the good stuff. As is always the case with Mr. Grow, the discussion covers a lot of ground. Here's a few of the highlights:
To Brian, thanks for the reminders and for the vulnerability. Everyone needs help and we all need to sit down with friends sometimes to get through things. You are welcome anytime! The takeaway from this one (and every RMIT episode!) is that this life is rich in any season and the invitation to any and all is always the same...to reflect and do something about what you hear.

It's another new episode of the Richest Men in Town and this week's episode is short, sweet, and guestless as Tyler and Mike get some summer vacation on. Don't let the length fool you because the conversation is still rich as the guys come together to reflect on the life going on around them. This week's musings include:
The guys end with a challenge to listeners to reflect and reach out to old friends to reconnect and support one another through things. Repair breaches and remove wedges that old friend that's just around the corner may not always be there.
