Victory - Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who love us.

Becket Cook was a gay man in Hollywood who had achieved great success as a set designer in the fashion industry. He worked with stars and supermodels, from Natalie Portman to Claudia Schiffer, traveling the world to design photo shoots for the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. He attended award shows and parties at the homes of Paris Hilton and Prince. He spent summers swimming in Drew Barrymore’s pool.

What changed for Cook? He met Jesus. On a momentous day in September 2009, while drinking coffee with a friend at Intelligentsia in L.A.’s Silver Lake neighborhood, Cook started chatting with a group of young people sitting at a nearby table—physical Bibles opened in front of them (remember, this was 2009). Becket takes us back to that day in the coffee shop 14 years ago to explain what was going on in his life that made the soil ready to receive the gospel seed.

Pastor Rick Brown speaks on Human Sexuality and delves into the depths of this complex topic, following a live Q&A with Becket and Rick. This conversation will not only challenge you but also provide a unique opportunity to explore the complexities of these issues in a safe and respectful environment. More than anything, my hope is that you will come away with a better understanding of this complex issue, from every angle, so you can make informed choices that affect eternity.

In this powerful Easter sermon, Pastor Rick Brown takes a closer look at the story of Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son in Genesis 22. Through this story, we see a foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice that God would make through his own son, Jesus Christ. Drawing on John 8:56-58 and Romans 10:8-10,13, Pastor Rick shows how Abraham's faith and obedience ultimately pointed to the salvation that we can have through Jesus Christ. By believing in him and confessing him as Lord, we too can be saved and reconciled to God. As we celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Jesus, let us remember the sacrifice that was made on our behalf and the faith and obedience that are required of us as his followers. Join us for this powerful message and be encouraged in your faith as we remember the ultimate sacrifice that was made for us.
