Recent research competed by Cardiologist with UPMC, Dr. Amber Johnson, shows a correlation between people with lower heart health, and people in the African American community. She joins Rick to break down her research and share what factors contribute to this result. 

Norm Mitry with Heritage Valley Health System joins Rick with an update on the number of patients they have with Covid. 

This week, the Journal of Clinical Oncology published work done by Dr. Warren Shlomchik, director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Cell Therapy program at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Shlomchik also is a professor of medicine and immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  His work focuses on leukemia patients and giving them stem cell transplants.

The publisher of Pittsburgh Magazine joined Rick Dayton Tuesday to preview the brand new Ultimate House. Betsy Benson says the Lawrenceville Lofts are astounding, providing amazing views of downtown Pittsburgh from one of the red-hot real estate sections of town. On Friday, tours of the Ultimate House will open to the public with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the Free Care Fund for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Wilkinsburg School District is debating whether to join Pittsburgh Public Schools. A Pittsburgh Council Meeting will take place to listen to Wilkinsburg residents and how they feel about the possible switch.
