Pennsylvania has eased the rules on who is allowed to be a substitute teacher -- and it is welcome news for educators and administrators who have struggled to find people to sub. Dr. Shannon Wagner of the Burrell School District tells Rick Dayton it will make a huge difference in her district and knows she is not alone. 

Kudos to the kids at Plum High School for an amazing fundraising effort for Make-A-Wish. They raised $73,038.37 this year to bring them past one million dollars in their 21 year run. The effort is part of a television production class at Plum taught by Rick Berrott. Berrott, Julia Chatkis and Matt Diss were guests on The Rick Dayton show right after their 8-hour show wrapped up Thursday.
