Bill French entered the Navy as a ROTC member at Vanderbilt University as a way to help him pay for college.  After graduation from the Nashville, TN University, French spent 36 years in the Navy, rising to the rank of Vice Admiral.  Now retired, French is CEO of Armed Services YMCA. Their organization helps military families with the challenges of deployment of a loved one.

After retirement, Dave Dayton and his wife Anne ran Slovak Folk Crafts
in Grove City. They imported items from Slovakia, Poland, and other
Eastern European countries and made many friends and business
associates in Ukraine in many trips overseas. Dave is also Rick's dad
-- and he joined the show as a guest to talk about his relationships
with the Ukrainian people and what he's hearing from them during their
war with Russia.

Earlier today, Duquesne University broke ground on its planned college of Osteopathic Medicine, which is scheduled to be completed in 2024. President Ken Gormley and the Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, John Kauffman, join Rick to tell him what this will mean for the area.
