In today's podcast the first article from the Law Society Gazette reports on various large Law firms who are furloughing significant numbers of staff and also reducing pay for other workers.  

The second article comes from Legal Cheek also looks at the different firms that are furloughing staff due to the Coronavirus outbreak.  

The third article is brought to you by The Negotiator and also deals with the issue of furloughing but this time in a large online estate agency On the Market.  

The fourth article comes from the BBC and looks at the Chancellor's recent anouncement about tough times ahead for the UK economy.  

The fifth article comes from Legal futures and examines a case where a paralegal has lost her job and chance to serve as a Labour councillor and after saying she thought the Prime Minister Boris Johnson deserved to get ill from the Coronavirus.  

The sixth article from the Daily Mail talks about a call by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors to have a Stamp Duty holiday after the virus lockdown is relaxed to get the housing market moving again.  

The Daily Mail also bring us the seventh article which advises people to start applying for mortgages now due to the backlog being faced at banks.   

Finally on a lighter note Country Life magazine showcases a £5 million house with 70 acres which used to belong to Queen drummer Roger Taylor listed with Savills on the market.
