Riddim Track w/ Spex Da Boss

On this episode of THE RIDDIM TRACK, SPEX turns a cold Toronto night into straight warm breeze and smooth sailing — easing you in with feel-good tunes before diving deep into the culture inside the BLUZONE.

The THROWBACK MIX officially rings in the Christmas season, kicking things off with Vybz Kartel & Sheba’s classic “Like Xmas”, then flipping into a bag of vintage riddims you probably haven’t heard in TIME! Holiday vibes but strictly yard style.

This week’s SOUNDCLASH SEGMENT is pure fyah: Tommy Lee Sparta vs Masicka — SPEX lines up all 6 songs released in the war so far and lets the tunes talk! Then it’s over to the phone lines as the listeners call in, debate, and decide who’s leading the clash right now. War inna real time!

To wrap it up, the MEGACITY MIXDOWN is an all-request shelling — nothing but selections texted in by the listeners, back-to-back bangers custom-built for the city.

Run this week’s edition of THE RIDDIM TRACK, share the vibes, and keep the energy going! Hit me with your requests and suggestions for next week’s show at [email protected] — and make sure you’re locked in live every Sunday night from 9PM–12AM on Toronto’s FLOW 98.7 or streaming worldwide at flow987.com.

If you missed the #RIDDIMTRACKSHOW last night then you missed a night of great music, energy and vibes!

From the Bluezone, The Throwback mix, MegaCity Mixdown to the Soundclash this show was definitely one for the books!

Big shout out to my brother @djcaponecanada who shocked the world once again and this time for bringing upcoming artist/talent @official_pablo_yg to 🇨🇦 and to the @flow987fm studios!

We spoke on his life, his history, how he got the name, his inspiration and what motivates him!

He also shocked the radio world when he named one of his favorite artists in the game and it’s not from the reggae/dancehall genre!
