They call it Carb Day, but we should probably start referring to it as Wienie Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We're just two days away from the 110th running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing and we couldn't have had more fun at the track. It turns out, you don't need bump day or the manufactured drama of a 10-15 shootout to create drama during qualifying. Yes, the stakes were a little lower but the battles for the Top 12 and the Firestone Fast Six were epic. Just a quick one from a sound booth in the media room at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We saw a lot of cars top 232 miles per hour and learned that it's anyone's game for qualifying tomorrow. As long as the rain stays away, it should be an exciting day. We saw a few surprises and got a couple of great stories and will have plenty more to talk about tomorrow.

In a reaction to the incident that left Alexander Rossi exposed to cars passing him at 170 miles per hour while his car was stopped on the track, IndyCar has clarified that driver safety is the most important factor when deciding between a local and full course yellow. From the drop of the green flag to just a few laps from the finish there was non-stop action in the 2026 Sonsio Grand Prix of Indianapolis.
