In this message, Jesus reminds us that this broken world won’t always be this way. For now, we see glimpses of restoration as God saves, changes, and restores lives. And like the Samaritan leper, we should recognize the Restorer and respond with gratitude. But Jesus also warns that one day there will be a final reckoning when He returns and everything that is wrong is finally dealt with. The good news is found in Jesus’ words, “But first He must suffer.” Before He comes again as Judge, He came as Savior, suffering for our sins so that we could be made right with God. Until He returns, we are called to live gratefully, faithfully, and ready
