As we take a break from our Wednesday night teachings over the summer we will begin a nine week summer season of the Ridgedale Students Podcast where we'll be looking at some of Jesus' most radical teachings; the Beatitudes of Matthew 5:2-11. In this series we'll ask the question that Jesus seems to be touching on, "Who is actually blessed in the world?" Jesus' Sermon on the Mount takes the world and flips it on its head in order to show us what the way of Jesus is truly meant to look like lived out in the Kingdom of God. We hope this series encourages, challenges, and sharpens you in your love for Jesus and your practice of living for Him in the world we inhabit.

We want more of His presence but we also find ourselves engulfed in the things of this world that aren't necessarily "evil" but are not lending themselves toward experience of Jesus. What we come to find in this reality is that we will ultimately starve ourselves of things we don't believe are enjoyable or satisfying. So where is the disconnect for us?
