Welcome to Season 2 of the Ridgedale Students Podcast, SUMMER EDITION! Over the summer we won't have our regular teaching times, so in their place we will be recording a series of nine conversations with the RSM Staff focused on the Beatitudes from Matthew 5:3-10. Today on our first episode you'll hear an introduction to the Beatitudes from Chris and AnnaKate as they discuss what the Beatitudes aren't, the context the Beatitudes are spoken into, what they are and how we apply them. We hope you enjoy!

As we take a break from our Wednesday night teachings over the summer we will begin a nine week summer season of the Ridgedale Students Podcast where we'll be looking at some of Jesus' most radical teachings; the Beatitudes of Matthew 5:2-11. In this series we'll ask the question that Jesus seems to be touching on, "Who is actually blessed in the world?" Jesus' Sermon on the Mount takes the world and flips it on its head in order to show us what the way of Jesus is truly meant to look like lived out in the Kingdom of God. We hope this series encourages, challenges, and sharpens you in your love for Jesus and your practice of living for Him in the world we inhabit.
