As we read the Bible we find that God regularly shows his heart for a special group of people: widows and orphans. In this second part of our “So Not Fair” series focusing on God’s heart for justice, we look at what God says about caring for the most vulnerable in our societies – the orphans. You will not only be inspired by the stories of those who have taken action, but you will learn what you can do to care for modern day orphans.

We’ve all been there. We cried out, “its not fair” only to be told to take care of our own responsibilities and not worry about what anyone else is doing. But as we carry the value of personal responsibility into adulthood, we are unsure if or how we should take care of the needs and injustices that we see around us every day. In this first part of our series, “It’s Not Fair” we will look at what God says about our responsibility to the poor and oppressed who live around us. You will also find out how Christians are responding and how you can get involved.
