It is with a heavy heart that in this difficult episode, George and Christina share the recent loss of their Uncle Joe. They confess how their selfish pain here on earth poses the challenging question, should they continue on with life and celebrating their engagement. Although it was a tough decision and they wanted to be as sensitive, respectful and at peace with this, they received the blessing. Our hearts are heavy during this time of mourning yet we have each other at the end of the day, we have our family and friends to lean on and pour into and it is for this same reason that we are choosing to cherish each day and live it to the fullest because as it has been reiterated to us today, tomorrow is not promised.
We love you so much Uncle Joe! You are now home with Auntie Debbie. Heaven gained another angel.

November 03, 2020 Episode #16- Oregon Trip Shenanigans
In this episode, George and Christina recall their somewhat spontaneous trip to Oregon. They took a flight the next day following their engagement to buy Goerge's dream truck but that didn’t go quite as expected. Nevertheless, they met up with some college buddies ate a lot of food, and also hiked up to some waterfalls. All in all, their trip was a success as they found a truck, not in Oregon but in Washington. From there, they cannonballed, 1000 miles back in 2 days so that George could eat cake. Everyone loves a road trip right?

In this episode, Georgestina reflect on their individual college experiences. Although they both graduated from UCSD, their journeys getting there were very different. Christina went the pre-Med route and George knew prior to enrolling that he wanted to build things and go to a trade school. Nonetheless, whether they regretted anything, college was the place that they met which has led them to where they’re at today, engaged!

In this episode, George and Christina Nicole discuss how they give and receive love. They admit that sometimes they're not on the same page and are out of sync with each others' needs and desires. As a result, this would lead to one partner feeling disconnected and unloved. In an effort to prevent this from continually reoccurring they both took the love language quiz which they discovered the underlying reason why. They quickly adapted and now, although far from perfect, they’re able to better understand one another and their needs.

In this episode, George and Christina discuss how planning for a wedding has been somewhat overwhelming. There are so many decisions you have to make and a bunch of questions you have to ask one another. What's important to them is that they celebrate their love and with the people they love. Even that has been extra challenging due to the current state of the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. Georgestina acknowledge the financial responsibility of having a wedding and weigh the cost of it all. They dig into longing to buy a home together and how they would like to save money for their future home. All in all, the two of them understand that what is truly important is not the color of the napkins, or if there were charger plates, or the floral centerpieces, or the venue, or whether it's indoors or outdoors, what really matters ultimately, at the end of the day is their love for one another and their commitment to each other.
