My guest is Jim Pinkerton, a columnist, author and political analyst. You can read his work at the American Conservative and Breitbart. He's a grad of Stanford University and served on the White House staff under both Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush. Jim worked on each of their presidential campaigns for 1980 and 1992, and he also was a senior advisor to the Mike Huckabee 2008 presidential campaign.

Kayleigh McEnany is the acting national spokesperson for the Republican National Committee and author of The New American Revolution: The Making of a Populist Movement. Before being announced as RNC national spokesperson, Kayleigh worked as a CNN political commentator. She graduated from Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctor and Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a BSFS in International Politics. She also studied politics and international relations at Oxford University, St. Edmund Hall.

During the 2016 presidential election, Kayleigh appeared nightly on CNN’s primetime shows and throughout its daytime programming. My guest today on RIGHT IN DC is Chip Roy. Chip is a longtime friend of mine and I would call him an ideological compadre as we both revere the US Constitution, and our civil liberties and rights under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

We both attended the University of Virginia together and he went on to be very involved in politics. My guest today on Right in DC is Sheila Wenz who is the founder of Stand-Up Studios--DC Comedy Classes for Everyone which is located in Washington, DC. (http://www.standupstudios.com/)

I came to know Sheila because I decided that I wanted to conquer one of my biggest fears: I had this fear of comedy, of being able to tell a joke. I have this weird part of my brain that I can only remember the punchlines of jokes, I can never remember the setup of jokes.

So I was scrolling around the internet and looking for comedy classes so that I could go see what it was all about and Sheila's Stand-Up Studios DC popped up. I thought why not conquer this fear and find out if I had what it took to at least get up on the stage and make a complete fool of myself. But I was so surprised by Sheila’s class--it was very inspiring and one of the best experiences in my life. She made it such a bigger experience than comedy and now I don’t have that fear anymore.
