Legislation passing today will allow the Federal Government to increase their funding to public schools beyond the 20% it currently offers.
Acting President of the Queensland Teachers Union Leah Olsson told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, 'on a macro level, you're talking about $1.4 billion across Australia per year to fully fund State schools.'

'This funding will have an impact in resolving some of those issues.'
