As we prepare for election season, we are beginning to hear the debate about "minority rule" come back into the public discourse. Minority rule is the concept that the minority party can dictate legislation even though they represent a fewer number of constituents. We base our conversation on articles from The Atlantic and NPR.

There are a lot of things going on in the country, and outside of the country at the same time. The President of the United States of America claims to be Catholic and at the same time supports policies that directly contradict the teaching of the Catholic Church, and the Church has decided to move forward in drafting a document issuing guidance to US politicians on whether or not they can support certain policies and still be in good standing with the Church in order to receive Holy Communion.

In other news, Russia is making some serious plays and the current administration seems to be capitulating to Russian demands all over the globe. We are back! Again... Over last week we (those of us in the studio) took mini break to celebrate Jon's wedding, in Mexico.

We are back! Returning from a two week break Josh and Paul spend this double-length episode discussing some of the major developments from the COVID lab-leak theory to wokism in the military. Recently, Dr. Fauci has disclosed that the NIH did, in fact, fund the Wuhan lab that may have been responsible for the leak of the COVID-19 virus. Meanwhile, Rep. Dan Crenshaw has created a website for reporting "woke ideology" in the military after the U.S. Army's new ad campaign received criticism for being woke.

In our Literature Review we examine "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and consider the applicability of the story to social media. This leads us to examine the question: how much do we Hyde ourselves?

In our segment "Fall of the American Empire" we discuss the future of China as a peer competitor to the U.S. Based on the work of George Friedman and Peter Zeihan we consider the fall of China in the next 30 years.

Over the past 13 years since Ironman, Marvel Studios has grossed over 22 billion in revenue due to the release of over 20 films. We wanted to dive into the mark and effects that these movies, and characters have had on social interaction and behavior throughout the USA.
