Podcast Description:

In this trailer, former Kenyan cricket legend Aasif Karim explores the powerful dual role of sports in politics. He draws a striking contrast between the "Nelson Mandela Effect"—where Mandela strategically used the 1995 Rugby World Cup to unite a fractured South Africa—and the common practice where governments relegate sports to a "political Siberia," using it as a pacifier or a dumping ground for sidelined politicians.
