In this episode, we talk about tests. Tests are those moments when life feels uncertain and we’re not sure what God is doing. Surrender opens the door to the testing of our faith, and while it’s not always easy, these tests help us grow in discernment and deepen our understanding of God’s will for our lives. Navigating the tests God allows requires faith, patience, and surrender—but through it all, we know The One we can always turn to. 🙏🏽

Scriptures mentioned :

Romans 12:2 ESV

In this episode, we’re talking about what surrender really looks like and how to stay the course when life is still life-ing. A lot of people think that once you give your life to Christ, everything suddenly gets easier but that’s far from the truth. Jesus actually tells us in John 16:33 that we will face trouble, but to take heart because He’s already overcome the world. He also reminds us in Matthew 11:30 that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Surrendering isn’t about having it all figured out, it’s about handing our burdens over to God and allowing Him to shape us. It’s the process of letting go of who we used to be so we can become who God created us to be.

Scriptures Mentioned

James 4:1-10

Matthew 18:15-20

Matthew 7:1-5

1 Corinthians 10:13

In this episode, we discuss the impact of generational trauma and how the sins and wounds of our parents’ past can show up in our present lives. We are reminded that unless we confront and heal these deep-rooted issues, they will continue to pass from one generation to the next. Our goal is to uproot these patterns completely, allowing them to end with us.

True healing from the generational trauma demands a divine partnership with God.  We've tried to manage pain and patterns in our own strength, only to fall short time and time again. We’ve determined that God's way is better. The restoration we desire that will extend through generations requires the power and presence of a BIG God.
