Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Okie parents, Greg's diverse experiences have shaped his perspective on life. From studying journalism at a young age to living and working in Uganda for seven years, he has traveled extensively, absorbing the richness of different cultures. Greg's professional writing career took off in 1999 with a compelling report for Christianity Today on a cult mass murder in East Africa. Since then, he has contributed to numerous magazines, including Publishers Weekly, and published several books.

In this episode, Greg dives into a discussion on reparations for black communities and the complexities of race. Drawing from his experiences and research, he offers valuable insights and engages in a compassionate dialogue about the importance of addressing historical injustices and working towards reconciliation.
