Story Transcript:

Bg: На върха на високата Рила планина, близо до Рилския манастир, течеше река Илия, бърза и студена.
En: At the peak of the tall Rila mountain, near the Rila Monastery, flowed the fast and cold Ilia river.

Bg: Там се срещнаха двама приятели, Ивана и Стоян.
En: There, two friends, Ivana and Stoyan, met.

Bg: Лятото беше приключило и учениците се връщаха в училище.
En: The summer had ended, and the students were returning to school.

Bg: Ивана обичаше да стои край реката и да чете книги.
En: Ivana loved to sit by the river and read books.

Bg: Стоян пък предпочиташе да се катери по скалите и да играе с рибите.
En: Stoyan, on the other hand, preferred to climb the rocks and play with the fish.

Bg: Те се видяха край реката сутринта преди първия учебен ден.
En: They met by the river on the morning before the first day of school.

Bg: — Как беше лятото ти, Ивана? — попита Стоян, като стоеше на един голям камък.
En: “How was your summer, Ivana?” asked Stoyan as he stood on a large rock.

Bg: — Прекрасно беше, Стояне. Много четях и се разхождах до манастира. А ти?
En: “It was wonderful, Stoyan. I read a lot and took walks to the monastery. And you?”

Bg: — Аз лових риба. Но днес започва училището. Мислиш ли, че ще ни бъде интересно?
En: “I went fishing. But today school starts. Do you think it will be interesting?”

Bg: Ивана се усмихна. Тя обичаше ученето. — Да, Стояне. Новите учители ще ни научат на много неща. Ще имаме нови приятели и приключения.
En: Ivana smiled. She loved learning. “Yes, Stoyan. The new teachers will teach us many things. We will have new friends and adventures.”

Bg: Те поеха по пътеката към Рилския манастир, който беше и тяхното училище.
En: They took the path towards the Rila Monastery, which was also their school.

Bg: Манастирът беше голям и стар, с красиви фрески и златни куполи.
En: The monastery was large and old, with beautiful frescoes and golden domes.

Bg: В двора имаше чистач, който ги поздрави.
En: In the courtyard, there was a caretaker who greeted them.

Bg: — Добро утро, деца. Готови ли сте за новата учебна година?
En: “Good morning, children. Are you ready for the new school year?”

Bg: — Да, господине! — отговориха те в един глас.
En: “Yes, sir!” they answered in unison.

Bg: Щом стигнаха класната стая, учителката, госпожа Георгиева, вече беше там.
En: When they reached the classroom, the teacher, Mrs. Georgieva, was already there.

Bg: — Добро утро, ученици! Днес ще научим нещо ново и интересно.
En: “Good morning, students! Today we will learn something new and interesting.”

Bg: Часът започна. Децата слушаха внимателно и се упражняваха усилено.
En: The class began. The children listened attentively and practiced diligently.

Bg: Учителката ги водеше към вълнуващите знания, обяснявайки ясно и просто новите уроци.
En: The teacher guided them towards exciting knowledge, explaining the new lessons clearly and simply.

Bg: След учебните часове Ивана и Стоян се върнаха край реката.
En: After the school hours, Ivana and Stoyan returned to the river.

Bg: — Учението не е толкова лошо — призна Стоян. — Научихме много днес.
En: “Learning isn’t that bad,” admitted Stoyan. “We learned a lot today.”

Bg: Ивана кимна и хвана Стоян за ръката. — Важното е да се учим със сърцето и да бъдем добри един с друг.
En: Ivana nodded and took Stoyan’s hand. “The important thing is to learn with our hearts and to be kind to each other.”

Bg: Стоян се усмихна. — Да, това наистина е най-важното.
En: Stoyan smiled. “Yes, that really is the most important thing.”

Bg: Докато слънцето залязваше зад високите върхове, Ивана и Стоян знаеха, че новата учебна година ще бъде пълна с приключения и знания.
En: As the sun set behind the high peaks, Ivana and Stoyan knew that the new school year would be full of adventures and knowledge.

Bg: Те гледаха към бъдещето с радост и нетърпение, готови за всичко, което ги очакваше.
En: They looked to the future with joy and anticipation, ready for everything that awaited them.
