Riley's dad died when he was a teenager and it tore him apart internally. At the time Riley was unable to understand what he was feeling and thinking, and did the best he could but found alcohol was the best way to numb the pain.
This unhealthy coping strategies took Riley down a path of destruction.
In this episode we speak about Riley ending up being sentenced to prison, moving in to acceptance and rehabilitation.
Riley never excused his actions but got an understanding of what can happen when a young person doesn't have the ability to regulate their emotions.
