In today's message, Pastor Dan will share with you about salvation and the incredible sacrifices that Jesus made to be able to offer it to you. Jesus left His place in heaven, to be born of a virgin. He grew and became a phenomenon to the local people, healing and sharing about His Father in heaven. He would later be mocked, beaten, and crucified on a cross. This humiliating death would be the start of salvation as we know it today. The gift of forgiveness, grace, and mercy is yours to reach out and take.

Since sin entered the world in the garden of Eden, mankind has tried to become like God. The serpent lied to Eve and said that she would be like God if she ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil... And the same is true today. While our mindset may not be that we want to be like God, but our actions would convey that type of feeling... But in doing so, we forget who God is. God is perfect, loving, holy, and kind... We can rest in the knowledge that God is God and He will take care of us.

In today's message, Pastor Dan will remind you that Christians are citizens of the kingdom of God. You may be an American or a Canadian or from some other country... But what really matters is are you a citizen of heaven, or of the world. As Christians, we're here in this life to serve the Lord and share the good news of Jesus Christ, we have no allegiances to our earthly home. Our home is in heaven... God has created a perfect place for us to spend eternity with Him... With no more tears or pain.

Today, Pastor Dan will share with you about how different nations and people groups came to exist based on the historical account given from the book of Genesis. When God chose to flood the Earth, He left one family to repopulate the Earth. Noah and his sons and their respective wives were responsible for repopulating the Earth... And from this point in time, all people can trace their lineage. We all come from the same family... This is just one of many reasons why we must treat people with kindness.

In today's message, Pastor Dan will remind you that the God of the Bible is the God of every nation. While the United States might be a nation founded on Christian principles and Israel is the nation of the people of God, God cares for each and every nation! And in caring for all nations, God cares for all people. No matter your nationality, race, ethnicity, political allegiances, or anything else... God loves you more than anyone has ever or could ever love you. His desires for you are good and perfect.

Your sins and transgressions are not to be displayed to the public, but rather are to be forgiven and moved on from. Today, Pastor Dan talks about Noah’s drunkenness after the flood and the actions his sons took after discovering him that way. Just like Noah, you have fallen short of God’s glory. However, God has given you the opportunity to come back into fellowship with Him and to have your sins and transgressions covered and taken away by simply repenting and asking forgiveness.

Today, Pastor Dan elaborates on Noah’s fall after the flood. We as Christians can fall AFTER the tests and trials come our way, and that’s exactly what happened to Noah. He did not falter before the flood, nor during the flood, but after the flood was over was when Noah fell back into man’s old ways. His story is a reminder to us that we ALL can fall short of God’s glory, but we have the promise that because of Jesus dying on the cross, we can be forgiven of sin and receive redemption through Him.

God is The God of new beginnings. God sent a flood to destroy the earth, and in doing so He established Himself anew with Noah. Today, Pastor Dan talks about the covenant God made with Noah after the flood. Everything was new, and so was God’s new promise to him, which was to never wipe out the earth again with a flood. Even though God made a covenant with Noah thousands of years ago, you as a Christian are still in that covenant, and you can trust in that same promise, too.

We all get a clean slate when we receive salvation through Jesus. Before Jesus came, however, the entire earth had to be wiped clean so man could start anew. Today, Pastor Dan discusses the new beginning that God gave man after the flood. All descendants of man came through Adam first, but after the flood, we became descendants of Noah as well. As God set new life in motion through Noah, He established new rules and instructions on how they were to live their lives on the earth.

Are you someone who takes initiative, or are you someone who waits patiently for instructions, no matter what? There are pros and cons to both; Pastor Dan reminds us today that – no matter what category you find yourself in – we need to be careful to not trample over God’s plans. Oftentimes, it seems obvious – the path that we should take, but even so, we need to learn to be patient and pray, and wait on the Lord and His instructions, even when we think we know what’s best, or what the right way is.
