"RING TALK WORLDWIDE," LONGEST RUNNING SHOW IN COMBAT SPORTS HISTORY - 37 YEARS

PHD "HINTS AT" WARRINGTON UPSET & NO CHARLO MANIA

San Francisco, CA- The return of UK star Josh Warrington, "return" should be underlined as he's been off close to two years. But he's in with a 20-1 underdog from Mexico in Mauricio Lara. The PhD says that Lara is 22 years old and is giving him credence as Pedro goes the other way. And the fact that unbeaten Jermell Charlo thinks he can "shot call" with Canelo is preposterous.

SOC IS "THE STAR" OF THE SATURDAY SHOW!

San Francisco, CA- One of the smartest moves I've made in almost four decades of radio was to secure the weekly appearance of Brooklyn's Socrates Palmer Jr. The Boxing PhD sets me straight, is insightful, keeps the Saturday show "on the tracks" per se.

NOTHING BUT BOXING WISDOM & INSIGHT

Socrates and i play question and answer as Boxing's PhD covers the week in boxing and more!

KENNY REVEALS LARRY HOLMES "GETTING EVIL" WITH LEON SPINKS

San Francisco, CA- When I first crossed paths with Kenny Rainford, I knew he "had been in the business" for years.  Now Mr. Rainford is doing his "Rain-Cast" special "Ring Talk" presentation as he expands on Leon Spinks in depth. The UK boxing trainer/guru talks Billy Joe Sanders, Chris Eubank Jr. and Evander Holyfield.

BOXING'S "RAIN-CAST" WITH KENNY RAINFORD

I hope to do this every other week on the "Ring Talk." Thank you Kenny!

LARRY REFLECTS ON LIFE AT 90

San Francisco, CA- Having been doing radio since the mid-1980's, I still get more of a kick with retired HBO Godfather Larry Merchant, than I have with any guest.  On occasion we disagree, but since 1985, the night of Hagler-Hearns when we met in the press room.  Merchant still stunned says to me, "You ever seen anything like that?" So he spends about two minutes talking, leaves this rookie writer with a couple of Merchant quotes and well my Editor was thrilled.

THIS IS LARRY MERCHANT

In this "Ring Talk" exclusive, Larry talks about life growing up, boxing, Leon Spinks, and a whole lot more.  This is "Nothing But Larry" Merchant.

THIS IS "NOTHING BUT LARRY" MERCHANT FROM 1/31/21. THIS IS "DIFFERENT" FROM LARRY ON LISTON

LISTON WAS A FREAK...IN A MULTITUDE OF WAYS

San Francisco, CA- We'll hear from Larry Merchant on "the so-called "fixed" Ali-Liston fights.  Muhammad Ali prepping for Sonny Liston as champion. Hard look at Liston, who was a hell of a nice guy....until he started drinking. Covering his career and life until he died "by his own hands" in Las Vegas. We also look at Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, twice convicted Murderer

PEDRO “POKING THE BEAR” NOT SMART

San Francisco, CA- I’m pretty sure none of you have had the “interactions” I experienced with Archie Moore, the all time “King of BOXING KOs.” NOT once BUT twice, “The Old Mongoose” wanted to drive my teeth down my throat.

BOXING’S UNFLAPPABLE PhD ON DON KING Y MAS

After the short Moore spiel, the “Bronx Bomber” Socrates Palmer breaks down the weekend’s fights topped by a 50-1 favorite in a WBA title fight. We look at the “DKP Battle of The Breasts” Daniel “38 D” Bryon and Bermaine “48 F” Stiverne. GET this, the card was thought to be so bad that, “No one wanted to steal the PPV,” a first in boxing.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY ON IHEART RADIO & SIRIUS XM 217

JOSE & MAURICIO SULAIMAN BOTH TALK "BOXING & THE WBC LEGACY"

San Francisco, CA- Late WBC President Jose Sulaiman in an "Unplugged" interview here with his vision of boxing after decades of being the World Boxing Council head. His son Mauricio Sulaiman joins me in what is truly a "revealing" show on Jose as I talk of his almost "unbridled kindness" to strangers on our worldwide travels and of course the 12 round title fight.  PLUS WBC's 3 lightweight champs, Teofimo Lopez, et al and women's boxing too.

LARRY HOLMES ON LIFE IN 2021

San Francisco, CA- About 25 years ago, I called Larry Holmes, the most famous person of Easton, PA, and said, "There's a pothole in my street and I need it fixed. You are the Mayor, right?" His response, "I'll get right on it" and hung up!

The "unofficial" Mayor and I go back 40 years. In this 1/17/21 show, Larry raps today's heavyweights and enlightens us on other matters relative to the former World heavyweight champion.

"NOTHING BUT LARRY" IS COMMERCIAL FREE & UNPLUGGED

San Francisco, CA- Retired HBO Godfather Larry Merchant weighs in on the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua fight where everything is said to be signed and they are looking for a date for the event slated most likely for the Middle East. ! I also push Larry on other "topics of the day."
